Stewed Fish |
| 1 lb. fish slices 1 or 2 blades scallion 1 small onion 1 tsp. chopped parsley 2 tsp. butter 1 glass water 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 cup milk Salt and pepper to taste Clean and cut fish in slices or cutlets. Season for no more than 20 minutes. Fry fish and seasonings. Stir in flour, then water and milk to make sauce. Cover and stew until fish is tender. |
